Here is the process:
- Send us your collection file and we will get to work for you.
- Under authority of ORS 697, a pre-collection letter is sent to the debtor letting them know a collection fee will be added to their debt if not paid in a pre-determined time period.
- If the debtor does not pay the account to your office, it is assigned to Southern/Fidelity with the collection fee added.
- The account is then uploaded to Oregon Department of Revenue’s tax intercept program.
- We manage all data transfers and reconcile balances WEEKLY with ODR!
